Edith falls to Darwin

Edith Falls was our last camp before Darwin. The camp spots where small designated grass areas surrounded by bush.

some of the wild life comes in for a closer look at the wild life!

Our nearest neighbor was a bowerbird that was collecting white objects to decorate his nest. At first I thought someone had dumped rubbish as it was surrounded with tea light candles & bits of bone. It was only after a bit of a closer inspection I found out what the real purpose of all that “trash” was.

The lake at the base of the falls was only a 2 minute stroll with the kids.

A quick morning dip before we headed off to Darwin. No croc’s for now anyhow…..
